English: Rabbi Berechiah and Rabbi Yirmiyah, in the name of Rabbi Chiya bar Abba, transmit Levi bar Sisi's teaching: the sapphire brick beneath God's feet recalls the Egyptian bondage; after Israel was redeemed, the brick was placed where a brick belongs rather than beneath His feet.
