רֵאשִׁ֗ית בִּכּוּרֵי֙ אַדְמָ֣תְךָ֔ תָּבִ֕יא בֵּ֖ית יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ לֹֽא־תְבַשֵּׁ֥ל גְּדִ֖י בַּחֲלֵ֥ב אִמּֽוֹ׃ {פ}

אָמַר שְׁמוּאֵל: גְּדִי לְרַבּוֹת אֶת הֶחָלָב, גְּדִי לְרַבּוֹת אֶת הַמֵּתָה; גְּדִי לְרַבּוֹת אֶת הַשְּׁלִיל, גְּדִי לְהוֹצִיא אֶת הַדָּם; גְּדִי לְהוֹצִיא אֶת הַשִּׁלְיָא, גְּדִי לְהוֹצִיא אֶת הַטְּמֵאָה.

English: Shmuel teaches from the word “kid”: it includes milk and a dead animal, includes a fetus, and excludes blood, the placenta, and a non-kosher animal.
