מכאן אמרו, שמע אדם מצוה אחת משמיעין לו מצות הרבה, שנאמר אם שמוע תשמע כונת הדרשה כעין זו שבהקודמת, ומכוונת דרשה זו כלפי הדרשא בפ' עקב (ח' י"ט) והיה אם שכח תשכח מכאן אמרו שכח אדם מצוה אחת משכחין אותו מצות הרבה, וכאן אמר ההיפך בשמיעה. .
English: From here they said: If a person hearkens to one mitzvah, they cause him to hearken to many mitzvos, as it is stated “If you will surely hearken.”
