וּבַיּ֤וֹם הָרִאשׁוֹן֙ מִקְרָא־קֹ֔דֶשׁ וּבַיּוֹם֙ הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י מִקְרָא־קֹ֖דֶשׁ יִהְיֶ֣ה לָכֶ֑ם כׇּל־מְלָאכָה֙ לֹא־יֵעָשֶׂ֣ה בָהֶ֔ם אַ֚ךְ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יֵאָכֵ֣ל לְכׇל־נֶ֔פֶשׁ ה֥וּא לְבַדּ֖וֹ יֵעָשֶׂ֥ה לָכֶֽם׃

לְכָל נֶפֶשׁ — דָּבָר הַשָּׁוֶה לְכָל נֶפֶשׁ; לֹא כִּרְחִיצַת כָּל הַגּוּף, שֶׁאֵינָהּ שָׁוָה לְכָל נֶפֶשׁ.
English: “For every person” — something equal for every person; not like washing the whole body, which is not equal for every person.

One may heat water for hands and feet, but not for washing the whole body on Yom Tov.
