תַּנְיָא: הַמּוֹצֵא מַרְגָּלִית בְּרֹאשׁ הָעָם אוֹ בְּרֹאשׁ הַמֶּלֶךְ — מְכַבְּדָהּ וְנוֹתְנָהּ לַמֶּלֶךְ. מַאי טַעְמָא? דְּכִתִיב: ״בְּנִי בְכֹרִי יִשְׂרָאֵל״ — מְלַמֵּד שֶׁיִשְׂרָאֵל נִקְרְאוּ בְּנוֹ בְּכוֹרוֹ שֶׁל הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא.
