וְכ֥וֹס פַּרְעֹ֖ה בְּיָדִ֑י וָאֶקַּ֣ח אֶת־הָֽעֲנָבִ֗ים וָֽאֶשְׂחַ֤ט אֹתָם֙ אֶל־כּ֣וֹס פַּרְעֹ֔ה וָאֶתֵּ֥ן אֶת־הַכּ֖וֹס עַל־כַּ֥ף פַּרְעֹֽה׃

Pharaoh’s cup was in my hand, and I took the grapes, pressed them into Pharaoh’s cup, and placed the cup in Pharaoh’s hand.”

Torah Temimah points to Pesachim 108a (R’ Yehoshua ben Levi).

הָנֵי אַרְבַּע כּוֹסוֹת שֶׁל פֶּסַח כְּנֶגֶד מִי? אָמַר רַבִּי יְהוֹשֻׁעַ בֶּן לֵוִי: כְּנֶגֶד אַרְבַּע כּוֹסוֹת שֶׁל פַּרְעֹה.

These four cups of Pesach — corresponding to what? R’ Yehoshua ben Levi said: corresponding to the four cups of Pharaoh.

On the daf / in context: The Seder’s four cups are anchored in the cup-language of this chapter’s dream narrative.

Derash on the verse (Bavli sugya) — not a formal named middah of the 13. Halachic practice is matched to the count of “cup” in the parsha.

The four cups of the Seder correspond to the cups mentioned with Pharaoh in the butler’s account.
