וַיִּשָּׂ֥א יַעֲקֹ֖ב רַגְלָ֑יו וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ אַ֥רְצָה בְנֵי־קֶֽדֶם׃

And Yaakov lifted his feet and went to the land of the people of the east.

מִשֶּׁנִּתְבַּשֵּׂר בְּשׂוֹרָה טוֹבָה שֶׁהֻבְטַח בְּשְׁמִירָה, נָשָׂא לִבּוֹ אֶת רַגְלָיו וְהָיָה קַל לָלֶכֶת.

English: Once he was given the good tidings that he was promised protection, his heart lifted his feet and it became easy for him to walk.
