וַיַּחְפְּר֥וּ עַבְדֵֽי־יִצְחָ֖ק בַּנָּ֑חַל וַיִּ֨מְצְאוּ־שָׁ֔ם בְּאֵ֖ר מַ֥יִם חַיִּֽים׃

But when Yitzchak’s servants, digging in the wadi, found there a well of spring water,

One who sees a well in a dream should rise early and say, “a well of living water,” before another verse anticipates him.

Custom (Bavli — recite the favorable verse after a well-dream)

After dreaming of a well one should promptly recite “a well of living water,” so that the dream is resolved for good.
