וְאַבְרָהָ֣ם זָקֵ֔ן בָּ֖א בַּיָּמִ֑ים וַֽיהֹוָ֛ה בֵּרַ֥ךְ אֶת־אַבְרָהָ֖ם בַּכֹּֽל׃

Avraham was now old, advanced in years, and Hashem had blessed Avraham in all things.

דָּרַשׁ רַב עַוִירָא: כָּל אָדָם שֶׁיֵּשׁ בּוֹ גַּסּוּת הָרוּחַ וְחוֹזֵר בּוֹ נֶאֱסָף בִּזְמַנּוֹ כְּאַבְרָהָם אָבִינוּ.

English: Rav Avira expounded: Any person who has arrogance and then returns [to humility] is gathered [to his people] in his proper time, like Avraham our father.

On the daf / in context: The derasha reads “in all” (bakol) in connection with Job’s language of the proud being cut short, and applies the positive side to one who abandons arrogance and dies at a fitting time, as Avraham did.
