The Gemara asks why the Mishnah says “the woman is acquired.” It explains that the Mishnah wanted to teach the acquisition by money, and asks where that law is derived. It derives “taking” from the field of Ephron.
On the daf / in context: Kiddushin derives acquisition by money from the language of “taking” in the Torah; the field of Avraham supplies a parallel.
