וְנָתַתִּ֣י לְ֠ךָ֠ וּלְזַרְעֲךָ֨ אַחֲרֶ֜יךָ אֵ֣ת אֶ֣רֶץ מְגֻרֶ֗יךָ אֵ֚ת כׇּל־אֶ֣רֶץ כְּנַ֔עַן לַאֲחֻזַּ֖ת עוֹלָ֑ם וְהָיִ֥יתִי לָהֶ֖ם לֵאלֹהִֽים׃

I assign the land you sojourn in to you and your offspring after you, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting holding. I will be their God.

לַאֲחֻזַּת עוֹלָם — וְשָׁם אֶהְיֶה לָהֶם לֵאלֹהִים, אֲבָל בֶּן יִשְׂרָאֵל הַדָּר בְּחוּצָה לָאָרֶץ כְּמִי שֶׁאֵין לוֹ אֱלוֹהַּ.

English: “As an everlasting holding” — and there I will be their God; but an Israelite who dwells outside the Land is like one who has no God.
